I’m sorry, folks. Lately, I’ve been too busy to post, too busy to reply to emails, too busy to read the newspaper (now that’s a shocker), and way too busy to take pictures. Things are good though! I was on a really successful business trip last week, cousin Rachel and Uncle Mike came to visit us this past weekend (and we had a blast!), our yoga classes are going great, Bridget threw a smashing Halloween party last night, and I finally finished the seventh Robert Jordan book.
Hope you are all doing well!

Last night David and I took Dan out for Mexican food for his birthday! We had a really fun time. We got to wear giant sombreros while the wait staff sang happy birthday to Dan and he blew out his candle in his sopapillas! How cool is that? Trust me, we were mortified, but we had a blast.
Last night our friend Stefan treated us to Riesling and muskatzinen cookies (at right) from Germany and took us out to dinner as a late post-wedding celebration. We went to Bacarro, one of our favorite happy hour spots, and enjoyed fine seafood (us) and fowl (Stefan). We then headed over to the Walnut Brewery, where we met up with Sally, one of Stefan’s former roommates. We had such a great time–and stayed up several hours past our bedtime. It was lovely.
