When David and I were preparing for the arrival of our firstborn, I read a dozen pregnancy and baby development books, while he read Calvin and Hobbes
That being said, we already had The Talk with our daughter: she is to resist the temptation to mimic any of Calvin’s antics. We’ll see how it goes.
LOL! Cracks me up! Owly was her first graphic novel! Now C & H! Does she “get” the humor?!! That middle strip is too funny!
…but surely your child development books mentioned the absolute necessity of maintaining a steady dose of Calvin & Hobbes for all members of the household, no? ;-)
