We ate a lot of chocolate cake today…
Because you only turn four and a half years old once.
After weeks of counting down to July 30th, the day has arrived and our daughter will finally call herself four and a half. There’s no rounding up with this girl.

Any time I’ve called her four and a half over the past month she’s corrected me. “Mom, I won’t be four and a half until July 30th.” I stand corrected.
