We love her characters and their creative, fun adventures.

We love her exploration of friendships and everyday (yet special!) experiences: setting aside a day to read at the library, camping out in the backyard, buying a new bed, attending a pancake breakfast, going for a boat ride, taking the bus to the beach, sewing a special quilt with friends (shown here).

  1. Thank you for introducing good books for us! They help me a lot to find books for my girl. We sure will try to borrow them next time!!

  2. So thrilled that Miss Leyba likes these books — especially Poppleton, which is so funny!!
I also really like this series by CR — “The Cobble Street Cousins” — love their small format that fits in the hand, and the charming illustrations and stories about the three girls, 2 sisters and a cousin. I have the series at home — A Little Shopping might be appropriate as you are planning on decorating the doll house. Don’t know which age to recommend this series — 1st grade? Let me know what you think..

  3. I love these books too! It’s nice to have some books that both of my kids (2 and 4 years) and I really enjoy. Sometimes I wish I lived in Poppleton’s little town. We’re slowly collecting the Poppleton books, as borrowing them from the library is no longer enough for us.
